Do I have sensitive skin?

Many times it is hard to know what our specific skin type is. Which is normal since skin conditions tend to change a lot over time. Some tips that might help you pinpoint if your current skin state is on the oilier side are the following: • Your skin is reactive with temperature change and stimulation• You notice some redness • Your skin gets easily dry and even feels itchy• You are prone to breakouts and whiteheads• Your skin flakes and peels

1️⃣. Keep it fresh & gentle for cleansing oil

When it comes to sensitive skin, cleansing is also considered a part of your 'skincare step'. Particularly during the bone-dry winter season, washing your face with a cleansing oil is one of the most—if not the most—significant steps in a conscious skin-care regimen. Foremost, because it’s essential to strike that delicate balance of lifting off every last bit of dirt and makeup while preserving any natural oils. And yet, over-cleansing will leave skin borderline sandpapery and parched.

Favourite new oil cleanser! ★★★★★

Why I love it: - Lightweight and gentle enough to use daily - Hypoallergenic and sensitive skin-friendly - Great first step for double cleansing - Effectively removes makeup and sebum buildup - Fragrance-free & cruelty-free - Rich in antioxidants & vitamins. - Elsa Th****

2️⃣. Use enzyme cleansers for proper cleansingEnzyme could be a perfect ingredient for clenasing especially for sensitive skin. “chemicals that speed up the rate of a reaction between two substances without being consumed themselves. Enzymes work by breaking down that keratin protein to reveal smoother skin.” So in a powder cleanser form, enzymes help gently exfoliate your skin, help with reducing pore sizes and congestion, breaks down any makeup you have on your skin and reduce excess sebum and help to loosen the conjunctions between dead skin cells! Can you say game changer?
BWT Green Tea Powder Wash

The perfect exfoliant ★★★★★

I am so in love with this Powder Wash! I have dry/combination skin which is sensitive and gets a bit flaky in the dry winter months. This wash has enough texture to make my skin look fresh and dewy, yet gentle enough to use every other day. It has a fresh scent, but does not contain any perfumes that usually irritate my skin. This is the perfect addition to my skincare routine. - Barbara Ha*****

3️⃣. Keep acne patches on vanity at all times

Pimple patches are no stranger for sensitive acne prone skin. It is what comes in super handy during acne emergencies and as a shield to protect irritated and inflammated areas. Whether it is used for the purpose to protect your troubled spot from external irritation, or whether it is used to let it heal overnight, it will serve you a purpose.

Pimple patches are just hydrocolloid bandages in cuter, smaller, single-serve packaging. Hydrocolloid bandages are excellent at absorbing liquid; you’ve probably seen them in the first aid aisle as “blister bandages.” They’re great for protecting lesions that leak fluid as they heal, which is how most pimple patches market themselves. Pimple patch has somewhat become a staples for many and a must on the vanity for acne emergencies.

One of the best pimple patch! ★★★★★

I tried so many acne patches and this is one of the only some that actually works for my skin! It is very thin so it does not appear very prominent on the skin. It sticks really well as well so I do not need to worry about the patch falling off my face. - Lavina Gr*****

4️⃣. Mugwort for antibacterial skincare

For many mugwort might not be the most familiar skincare ingredient unless you have been following the brand I'm From. In Korea, mugwort is regarded as a healing herb for its antibacterial, anti-fungal, and skin-protective properties. Known as ssuk. Although mugwort has been a part of Korean culture since basically the beginning of time, "we're seeing more Korean beauty products designed to soothe and treat sensitive skin, as well as acne-prone skin, using mugwort.

Sooo good ★★★★★

it’s so darn good! I’ve noticed it helped my irritated chin when I have my usual hormonal acne breakout. It helped reduce the redness on active pimples and even the redness around my nose. It has a watery texture and absorbs into the skin very quickly. I usually apply 2-3 layers for an instant hydration as well. It has a slight natural herbal scent, but fades very quickly after application. I save this essence to use only when I have redness or active breakouts on my face, and use the Rice Toner for other days. - Jenny W***
