"Your skin is unique, so listen to it"

• Name: Claudia Christin
• Please introduce yourself to our readers!
Hello, everyone! I am Claudia from @funskincare. I am from Indonesia and currently living in South Korea to pursue my Ph.D. degree in dermatology.• We are now getting into the latter half of 2020, how was 2020 so far for you?If I can summarize half of this 2020 it is: CHALLENGING! • Please share your story with Wishtrend!2020 has been challenging both academically as a student and personal-growth wise! This year I am preparing for my graduation thus all the craziness of finalizing my thesis has been a roller-coaster ride, full of ups-and-downs. It is draining at some point, but it unleashes a stronger side of me that I have never realized before. In personal-growth wise, with all the things that are happening in the world right now, I realized that there are so many little things in life that we have taken for granted. I have learned to be grateful for the little things and appreciate all the time we can spend with our loved ones without any restriction.• How is life in Korea so far?
It has been AWESOME! I love the food, the people that I met here, and of course the skincare and beauty of South Korea. I started my page @funskincare here in my small living space out of boredom. I decided to review all new skincare discoveries and share my knowledge related to skin and who would have thought that it will meet with so many online friends with minds alike and I am forever grateful for that. I don’t think I will ever start that page when I didn’t live here in South Korea. First, the accessibility to skincare and everything beauty here is unbeatable. As a skincare enthusiast myself, it almost feels like skincare-heaven on Earth. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCdeOKfHik_/• When it comes to skincare, tell us your philosophy of skincare!
My philosophy of skincare has changed as I grew up and learned more new things about my skin. My philosophy now that has changed my skin for the better is “your skin is unique, so listen to it”.• So, it’s summer - how are you and your skin getting through this season?
Summer has been pretty different as well this year. I don’t usually wear a face mask especially with all the heat and humidity in Korea! But since it is mandatory for us to wear a mask in a public space, I have twisted a little bit of my skincare routine. I noticed that my skin can get more easily irritated as I layered more products, so I’ve been cutting down my skincare steps and focus on using products that are simple yet effective to fulfill my skin’s needs.• Please share with us your top 5 favorite skincare products!
