1. Q. What is the main effect of Mugwort?

While Mugwort has risen as a trendy skincare ingredient as of late, Mugwort is regarded as a healing herb in Korea for its long history of effectiveness in medical practices. Now, dermatologists love mugwort for its ability to act as an antioxidant, prevent damage caused by ultraviolet rays, stimulate collagen production, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

1. Q. Are all the products in the I’m From Mugwort Line vegan?

You can rest assured that all products in the I’m From Mugwort Line are vegan and made from plant-based ingredients. We’re currently in the process of getting all products certified by the Vegan Society, however registration can take anywhere from six months to a year in order to complete which is why only the Mugwort Essence and Mugwort Sheet Mask currently have the title. 

1. Q. How long are all the products good for after opening for the first time, and what are their expiration dates? 

Typically, products in the I’m From Mugwort Line are good for 12 months after opening and have a total shelf life of 24 to 36 months from the date of manufacturing, depending on the product. However for the best results, we recommend using the products within the first 24 months of the manufacture date. 

1. Q. How should I store my I’m From Mugwort products? Can I store them in my fridge?

1. Q. The bottle of my I’m From Mugwort Essence/ Cream/ Mask are fragile because they’re made of glass. 

We believe that the packaging our skincare products come in are as important as the formulations of the product themselves. While it may take time to get used to the heavier glass bottles/ jars, we believe it’s a small price to pay for when doing our duty to reduce our carbon footprint. However, we are always open to your comments and suggestions regarding our formulations and packaging as we do our best to continuously better our products for your maximum satisfaction.  

1. Q. Does the I’m From Mugwort Essence contain small amounts of anything other than 100% mugwort extract? 

The I’m From Mugwort Essence is made with purified water which acts as a solvent to create the mugwort extract. No additional purified water is added except during the extraction. In addition to purified water, three to four more solvents were used in order to safely extract the effective components of mugwort. However, the essence states that it is 100% mugwort extract as the Korean Cosmetics Act requires all ingredients that are non-active to be omitted. Therefore, the I’m From Mugwort Essence is made from 100% mugwort extract. 1. Q. Why does my I’m From Mugwort Mask have small dark green specks inside?

The base of the I’m From Mugwort Mask is a concentrated gel formula that contains ground mugwort, the small dark green specks you’ll notice. The gel works to preserve the active ingredients of the mugwort and directly delivers its benefits into the skin for a cooling, soothing experience.
