#wishtrender: Meet @satiskincare, the Review Master of Wishtrend

We’re back with the 11th edition of #wishtrender! And this time we are here to introduce you to someone who is not only active on Instagram sharing the most honest reviews of some of your favorite skincare and makeup products and brands but also whom left the most reviews on Wishtrend during the first half of 2021! 💙 Hi! Can you please introduce yourself for us?

My name is Sati. I am 37 Years old and live in the UK with my husband and two daughters. Skincare is one of my passions alongside being a huge food lover! 💙 How did you first come across Wishtrend and Wishtrend TV?I discovered Wishtrend on a google search, I was looking for some Korean Drama recommendations and came across Wishtrend. I found the selection of products sold on WIshtrend to be some of my favourites, which then lead me to discover Wishtrend TV on instagram. 💙 What sparked your interest in skincare?I’ve always been self conscious about my face. I use to battle with acne and dark spots. I have hereditary dark circles and would cover these with make up 24/7. I couldn’t leave the house without wearing makeup.  After having my second daughter, I just did not have the time to keep up with having to put on make up. One day, feeling sleep deprived, I remember making a huge order on a skincare website. I used some of the products and they made a huge difference to my skin. It was then that I realised that a little self care goes a long way. Now 6 years later, I have the confidence to be make up free and love the way I look no matter what.  💙 You have caught Wishtrend’s eyes as the Wishtrender who left the most reviews in the 1st half of 2021! How do you feel and what was the inspiration and drive to leave great reviews on Wishtrend?I wasn’t aiming to leave so many reviews and didn’t realise I had! My main goal of 2021 is to use up all the skincare products I currently own - which is a lot! I get carried away hoarding skincare products as I’m always keen on trying out new things so I buy often.  I have been very successful so far with emptying a lot more than I usually do hence all my reviews. I really appreciate website reviews and people who take the time to leave them as I read reviews myself when buying things. I feel great contributing my experience, knowing that my review may be useful to the next person who is interested in that particular product.  💙 We love your @satiskincare IG account with great skincare reviews! How do you select products for reviews?  Ingredients! If a product sounds hopeful from particular ingredients it contains then I want to try it for sure. I select products that are best suited to my skins needs as this reflects the review better. I also enjoy newly launched products! I can’t give those a miss!  💙 We would love to hear more about your skincare favorites! What are they and why?When you love skincare so much it is hard to narrow down just products! A few brands like Dear Klairs, ByWishtrend and I’m from are on top of my list.  Some products in particular are; Dear Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleaning Oil as it does what it says - it’s very gentle and removes makeup/spf with ease! My children use this cleansing oil too.

💙 How was the year 2021 so far? Please share us your favorite memory this year!

Things have taken a positive turn this year, looking forwards not backwards! My favourite memory of 2021 so far has to be my daughters 6th birthday that we celebrated in June. It was nice to feel some normality and go out as a family, where we visited a farm, saw some amazing birds of prey and then the next day visited the beach! Just to see my children happy means everything to me.  💙 What does “positive beauty” mean to you?To me Positive Beauty is about loving the way you are, being who you are without stereotyping. Being able to eliminate words like normal, flawless and perfect from the beauty world.  Positive beauty should aim to bring individuality, as we are all beautiful in our own unique way.
