Underrated ingredients: Glycerin

We have heard a lot about active ingredients in skincare. We talked about: retinol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and many more! They are the star of the show that make the most significant changes for our specific skin concerns.

There is one ingredient that you can find literally everywhere with tons of benefits for your skin. Glycerin can be found anywhere, you may already have it in some of your skincare products! But it is a rather unpopular ingredient, considering its benefit for the skin. In this article, we would like to discuss glycerin, an underrated key ingredient, more in-depth.

What is Glycerin?

Glycerin (or glycerol) is a natural compound derived from vegetable oils or plants. It is clear, colorless, odorless, with a syrup-like liquid texture.
