How does Fig help our skin?
1. Antioxidative effect prevent signs of skin aging
Fig is a source of great antioxidants and anti-collegenase properties, thanks to the polyphenols and flavonoids compound it contains. These compounds help our skin prevent dermal matrix degradation which plays big part in skin aging.
2. Enhance skin texture
Fig extract contains proteolytic enzyme that works mildly but effectively to remove dead skin cells from the surface of our skin. This resulting in a polished and smoother skin than before (using fig). The proteases in protelytic enzyme also works to gently remove sebum, blackheads and whiteheads.
3. Enhance skin’s hydration
Fig is high in omega and healthy natural oils, this could help in preventing water loss and giving our skin moisturizing effect. It is also high in potent antioxidants which could result in rejuvenated skin.
4. Calms skin’s redness
Proteolytic enzymes are good for reducing inflammation and reducing inflammatory symptoms such as skin redness.
