How to Not Forget Applying and Reapplying SPF

how to not forget applying spf

Okay, we got to a point where we know sunscreen is an important part of our daily routines, and we also understand why we need to reapply. But how do we get into the routine of consistency even on a busy day? Below we are sharing some tips on how to turn SPF into a habit and never forget to apply and reapply again!

#1. A Post-it On Your Mirror

Somehow you don’t forget to brush your teeth in the morning or apply your favorite serum or eye cream, right? Just leave a cute post-it note on the mirror where you do these steps of your morning routine and you’ll be good to go! SPF will soon become a habit too.

#2. Choose a Sunscreen You Love

If you find a product you truly love, it won’t even be a challenge to turn its application into a habit. Test out a few different types and you’ll eventually end up finding a sunscreen that will become your best friend.

#3. Keep Sunscreen In Convenient Places

You’re always busy, on the go, and even applying your makeup in the parking lot of your office? Have sunscreen around you where it’s the most convenient for you. If that’s your car, then be it your car. The Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick (SPF 50 PA++++) is perfect for easy application on the go. And it’s also small enough to just drop it in your bag as well.

#4. Set Reminders

Time can fly by, especially if we get too immersed in a task, or a fun activity. Set a reminder on your phone or make a calendar notification every few hours. This will help you stay on top of your sun protection game. And you might as well add a water emoji next to the reminder because we know staying hydrating can also be just as challenging.

#5. Keep It In Sight

Last but not least… Out of sight out of mind, right? Keep your sunscreen in a visible spot so you'll be more likely to reach for it and reapply. The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum (SPF 50+ PA++++) would look great on your office desk, for example. And its natural dewy finish will also make you look more refreshed when you’re about to get a bit dull in between meetings.
