[KLAIRS] Supple Preparation Facial Toner
The Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner claims to be:- Fast absorbing- Enhanced hydration- Balance pH level- Calming formula- Non-irritatingThose are some simple yet wonderful claims. When it comes to toner, in my opinion, it is important to not strip the skin but to instead prep and hydrate the skin while providing balance. The ingredients in your toner is what makes this so important.Ingredients
Let’s take a look at what make Klairs toner so functional and gentle.Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Natto Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Beta-Glucan, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Copper Tripeptide-1The toner is clearly filled with many beneficial ingredients and I have highlighted some of the key ingredients that make this toner effective and beneficial. From hydrating ingredients to skin repairing ingredients, this toner is certainly loaded with benefits and not one form of Alcohol in sight or fragrance which are 2 major bonuses for our skin! I’ll be honest, the ingredients list is pretty flawless and is a main selling point for me!Packaging
The packaging for the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner has been improved during the year 2016 and has increased their volume by 30mL, providing 180mL in total which is a significant amount of toner. The overall design is quite simple and for the point, with a screw on black cap with a dropper style opening that easily dispenses 1 drop per shake of the bottle. Easily delivering the ideal amount of toner either into the palm of your hand or onto a cotton pad such as the Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pad’s which are currently my cotton pad’s f choice. For me, I personally have no issues with the packaging and find it to be ideal and satisfactory.Texture & Application
Now this is where I found the Klairs supple preparation facial toner to be revolutionary. The texture of this toner is unlike any other western brand’s I have ever used and it what sold me on Korean skincare. As I had previously always known toners to be designed to be harsh and drying in the attempts to fight against acne and oily skin, I had no idea that these so called “toners” were actually “astringents” which certainly are not okay for every skin type and can cause more harm than good for the skin. However the Klairs toner tightens pores and freshens the skin without doing any harm and in fact does everything your skin ever wanted! It has a glorious thick texture similar to that of a thin syrup without any sticky feeling. It is extremely watery yet dense at the same time without leaving any heavy residues on the skin! The toner can be applied 2 ways. With the palms of your hands or with a cotton pad. I apply is both ways. In the morning after cleansing, I apply the Klairs toner with the palms of my hands. While at night, I add some toner onto my Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pad’s and gently while it over my skin after cleansing. By using the cotton pads, I wipe away any excess dirt, dead skin cells and makeup that may have been left behind from my evening cleansing routine. The toner applies very smoothly and spreads evening over the skin and absorbs quickly but not too quickly.
