Q. Why is the By Wishtrend Organic Hemp Face Mask made from hemp and not other materials?

The By Wishtrend face mask is made from a blend of 55% organic hemp and 45% organic cotton. We wanted to create the mask with all natural fibers to ensure that only the safest, most comfortable materials came into contact with the skin. It took various tests to find the perfect material - we decided on hemp, which has great antibacterial, moisture-wicking and ventilation properties, as well as being UV resistant and one of the most durable of all natural fibers.

Q. Does the mask have a nose wire?

While the By Wishtrend face mask does not come with a nose wire, the soft terry cloth mask adjusts to the curves of the face for a snug, comfortable fit.

Q. Does the mask contain a filter pocket?

The By Wishtrend face mask does not come with a filter pocket as it was created to be a daily mask to help bring to life the Wishtrend team’s desire to do their part in aiding to reduce the ecological footprint made by the mass disposal of single-use masks, rather than function as a one-time-use medical-grade mask.

Q. Is it skin friendly?

Made with 100% natural fibers for a soft-touch and comfortable all-day wear, the By Wishtrend Organic Hemp Face Mask is chemical-free making it safe for even the most sensitive skin.

Q. Does it help cut down moisture?

Yes! As previously mentioned, hemp has great natural moisture-wicking abilities, which means that it quickly moves moisture build up within the mask to the outer surface, allowing it to dry quickly. This means that there’s no need to worry about the uncomfortable feeling of moisture trapped in your mask.

Q. How big is the By Wishtrend Organic Hemp Face Mask, and will it fit me?

The mask measures 17cm horizontally, and 12cm vertically. It comes in one size that comfortably fits most children and adults.

Q. How should we wash the face mask? Are there any precautions we need to take?

We advise you to hand wash the By Wishtrend Organic Hemp Face Mask with a mild detergent before the first use, and regularly afterwards. When doing so, avoid fabric softeners, bleach and dry cleaning, and use lukewarm water with a temperature below 30℃. Then, machine-dry at a low temperature. However, please take note that natural fibers may shrink when first washed, so we recommend letting the mask dry naturally.

Q. Does the By Wishtrend Organic Hemp Face Mask only come in one color?

Yes, it currently comes in an off white color, naturally characteristic of hemp, with navy blue straps that have been colored with a chemical-free dye. While only one colorway is currently available, we will definitely consider releasing variants in the future.

Q. How many times can we wear the mask before we have to wash it?

The frequency of how often you need to wash the mask depends on how frequently you wear the mask. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend washing the mask every 1-2 uses. We also strongly recommend that you get spare masks so that you are able to use them in rotation while the others are in the washing and drying process. In addition, while this mask is reusable, it is still recommended to replace the mask after 6 months of use for sanitary reasons. If worn everyday, we recommend you replace it after 2-3 months of use.

Q. The mask is sold out on the website. When will I be able to purchase my own mask?
