#wishtrender: Meet 8 Amazing Wishtrenders from All Over the World

For the 6th edition of #wishtrender, we’ve invited the 10 special Wishtrenders that joined us to celebrate our 10th birthday. In celebration of Wishtrend’s 10th birthday this past November 1st, we hosted a private Zoom birthday party filled with games, skincare talk, and more. While we’re unable to travel and meet our Wishtrenders around the world face to face, this party was an amazing chance for us to connect with the Wishtrenders that have helped us get to where we are now, on a deeper level.  We had a great time with everyone, and would love for all Wishtrenders to be able to get to know them as well. Hi my name is Anna. I’m 24 years old and live in Denmark. A country known for the Vikings and H.C. Andersen fairytales. My skin is often quite dry due to the hard weather and therefore I started focusing on my skincare routine through my Instagram account. 

• • What’s your favorite memory with Wishtrend? 

My favorite memory with Wishtrend is when my mum accidentally tasted the rice toner to check if it tasted like rice.

• • 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us. What’s a good memory that keeps you moving forward? 

One great memory was celebrating my grandma's 70th birthday. She loooooves christmas so we organized a christmas themed birthday party for her. Everything was decorated, we had a christmas tree and she got super excited. I love how happy she was that day.

I am a 17 year-old Hong Kongese student born and raised in Montreal Canada. Just like many other Wishtrenders, I started to get into skincare because of acne/ But now, it is a passion of mine!

• • How did you come across Wishtrend? 

I was searching for a cure to my acne and came across your channel, the friendliest and best skincare channel ever ? one of my most memorable time with wishtrend is when I met up with Eunice in Seoul last summer and my first time doing a live with wishtrend on Instagram 3 years ago (omg time flies)?

• • How was the Zoom party?

It was super exciting and fun! It felt like I already knew Kasper, Eunice and Mehdi, they were so welcoming and warm. We introduced ourselves, played games and chit-chatted, I didn’t want it to be over. I truly loved this experience. 

• • What’s your favorite memory with Wishtrend? 

I remember when Wishtrend held live streams called “Wednesday’s With Wish” every week on Instagram and I would sleep late just to watch them. I would say that I’m an early wishtrender and seeing your company thrive like this is making me slightly emotional ?? You also are so friendly to your fans I love you guys ??

Hello! My name is Eddie. I’m 24 years old, grew up in Los Angeles, and currently work as a Behavioral Therapist working with children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and am currently working towards my Marriage and Family Therapy degree in order to fulfill my lifelong dream of helping others through mental health.

• • While 2020 has been rough, what’s one positive part of the year?

For me.... it would be being able to truly have me time all day everyday and I have been succeeding ! I even got into the Dean’s List for my undergrad due to being able to finish the semester without rushing around. 

• • What attracted you to Wishtrend? 

Eunice really made her love for people and skincare be felt through the camera, and I love the community at Wishtrend!

Hi, I’m Eda. I’m a 20-year-old living in Scotland. I’m currently studying French and Spanish, but in my free time - when I’m not avidly collecting skincare products - I love to cook and bake, and of course, stuffing my face with it all afterwards!

• • What’s your one must-have Wishtrend product? 

This is a really hard one! I have many favourites, but one of my ALL TIME favourites thanks to Wishtrend, is the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. I love the sheet mask that goes with it too! 

• • What’s a favorite birthday memory you personally have?

When I was in high school, my mum would always “secretly” organise a small gathering with my close friends. I say “secretly” because it wasn’t really secret - I could always sort of tell that she was organising it. I said I didn’t want anything but I secretly enjoyed it ?

Hey! My name’s Hanna. I’m a 23-year-old, final year law student from England. I was exposed to the realm of all-things-skin at an early age, as my mother was a skin specialist. However, back then, I only looked for a quick fix. I thought, “where can I find the best makeup to conceal my imperfections?”. It wasn’t until I learnt the hard way how important it was to solve the problem at its core.

• • How has Wishtrend played a part in your life? 

When I finish my degree this summer, my dream is to come to Korea and learn even more about skincare. I realised that this is what makes me happy and is what I want to pursue after I graduate...who knows... I may even apply to work for Wishtrend? (I wish) ?❤️

• • How was the Zoom party!

It was so much fun! I’m pretty sure I woke up my entire house at 3 a.m. trying to beat Mehdi at the staring contest, but it was definitely worth it! It’s incredible to think we all came from different backgrounds, ethnicities and countries, but were united by our passion for skincare and love for Wishtrend! It was like meeting up with some old friends.

Hello I’m Jode! I turned 21 this year and am living in Melbourne Australia. I’m currently in my final semester of my Bachelor of Biomedicine and what to pursue a career in the health industry. I started getting into skincare after my trip to South Korea, and since then have been obsessed with trying new products and reviewing them, especially sunscreens!

• • How did your journey with Wishtrend begin? 

I first found your channel on YouTube and then discovered your skincare products after starting my beauty Instagram page! I remember binge watching your videos during one summer when I wanted to clear my skin before school started.

• • What’s your favorite memory from this year? 

My favourite memory would be my 21st birthday! Even though I couldn't celebrate by eating out or with a party, my closest friends came to my house to surprise me with a party and I spent the whole day with my favourite people at home! It was the first time I had seen my friends in a few months so it was amazing just to see them :)
