If you read through the ingredient list, you’ll spot ingredients that are enriched with antioxidants from grapefruit extract to raspberry seed oil.

The Ingredient List

A. Sucrose

: Sucrose is a natural sugar found in many exfoliating products. It is a popular exfoliating ingredient because of its ability to attract and retain moisture (hygroscopic property). It is beneficial in blemish control and helps restore balance of the skin’s natural oils. The natural glycolic acid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but protects it from pollutants and toxins. And it dissolves easily making it a great exfoliator.

B. Grape Fruit extract

: Grapefruit doesn’t just taste good as a dessert. It is a fascinating fruit rich with nutrients that protect, nourish and brighten the skin. It is a source of rich antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It is a natural source of salicylic acid, which helps keep the pores clean and heal breakouts. The lycopene (hence the red color), is known to reduce inflammation on the skin, thus making it a great ingredient as an exfoliator.

C. Raspberry seed oil

: Another fruit on the list! The raspberry seed oil. It is a great source of moisture, vitamins and fatty acids! Among different types of Vitamins, it contains a great level of Vitamin E, one of the more popular natural antioxidants, which fights oxidative damage and prevents premature skin aging. The fatty acids, is known to decrease inflammation on the skin and fight acne!

D. Kaolin

: Kaolin is a naturally occuring soft clay and is one of the more popular ingredient found among cleansing and exfoliating products. The natural white mineral has great absorbency and soothing properties making it a great ingredient for an exfoliator. Kaolin works well with other ingredients intended to control oil production and works great even on sensitive skin types. It will be the ingredient to put an eye on if you are looking for a product that can clear pores without causing flakiness or overly dry patches.

Actual reviews from staffs at Wishtrend

“It's hard to not fall in love a scrub that is hydrating on the skin”The Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Facial Polish has been my go-to exfoliating scrub for a while now, but when the whole staffs at Wishtrend had the chance to test out this new arrival, I was one of the many staffs who quickly swapped the OG out to this new sugar mask. Love how it feels on my skin after I rinse it off. Like many sugar based exfoliating scrub, it did its job of removing a nice layer of unecessary dead skin cells off from my skin, yet the difference was that I didn't feel skin pulling or flakiness after use. i can see how our customers with dry skin will end up enjoying this! – Hailey , Staff at Global Marketing Lab“Love how it smells and feels on my skin”First of all, it smells amazing. Love the hint of the grapefruit smell and love the sherbet-like texture gliding on my skin. I tried using this sugar mask 3 times a week (for my night time skincare routine) and love using it as a wash-off mask. Skin appeared to be brighter and smoother after use. The most satisfying part (apart from the scent) was that after using this sugar mask, my following skincare steps from toner to cream worked better on my skin. – Michelle, Staff at Global Marketing Lab
